Pregnancy, Baby and Children Photographer in Herftfordshire
Some of you may remember the pregnancy photographs of Ruth back in February. She has now had a gorgeous baby boy, my youngest customer yet at only 4 days old! Here are some photos of the family, featuring 7 year old E who’s so good with his baby brother.
I am always very excited to meet newborn babies a few weeks after doing the pregnancy photo shoots and today was no exception! It was a real pleasure to see Marisha again with her husband Mike and their new arrival baby A. Only two weeks old and very alert, she’s such a lovely baby and I get the feeling she’s going to be a real daddy’s girl. Here are a few shots from this morning’s session:

Today’s blog entry is about a shoot I did on Friday with baby E (just 12 days old!) and big brother F. Their parents Gary and Vicki are such a nice couple and the session was very relaxed. When I arrived 16 month old F was having his midday nap so we started with some nice newborn shots in the master bedroom.
When F woke up he wasn’t sure about me at first but he warmed up in no time and before you know it he was showing off for the camera, playing on mum and dad’s bed. He was so much fun to photograph with his big blue eyes, what a cutie!

I just love doing the bump to baby sessions, especially with first time parents as they go through such a life changing experience. Fouzan and Vijaya are a really lovely couple and having met them for the pregnancy shots in October I was really looking forward to finally meet baby A in January! He really made my heart melt with his big brown eyes and I was so pleased to be able to capture some of his very first smiles. Here are a few photos I love from both shoots.
I met Rachael and Dave two years ago for a bump-to-baby package, heavily pregnant myself, our due dates were only two weeks apart! Rachael contacted me again a couple of months ago to take some photos after the arrival of their second child. I love coming back to families and seeing how much children have grown, baby N. has now become a beautiful little girl and most importantly a Big Sister to cute little R.!
It was raining and very dark outside so we had to stay very close to the windows but the light and grain on the resulting images make a very atmospheric set.
I love doing the Bump to Baby packages, meeting parents just a few weeks before the baby arrives, and again once the baby is born.
Emma and Chris are such a nice couple and it was a pleasure to meet them before and after the birth of gorgeous baby Alfie. The bedroom with its bright pink wall was a great backdrop for the pregnancy photos. For the newborn shots, black and white was used for timeless father and son portraits.
